5 BELLY BURNING FOODS.

In my quest for that binki-friendly body I have been doing some research online. Today I was looking for foods that help burn that extra cushion in the kangaroo-pouch area, if you catch my drift.  So according to WEBMD this is what they are reporting as belly busting foods.:

Eggs !

Since they are full of protien they help you feel fuller longer. As it should. A study shows that women who ate two scrambled eggs for breakfast in the morning consumed less calories over 36 hours than women who didn't. Food for thought, huh?

BEANS!!

Same principle applies here since beans are a great sense of protien.  However, beans have cholecystokinin. Heard of it? Me neither. But, it is your best friend for losing weight! Cholecystokinin digestive hormone is a natural appetite suppressant. Good to know, right? There's also some evidence that beans keep blood sugar on an even keel, so you can stave off hunger longer. Heart-health bonus: High-fiber beans can lower your cholesterol.

SALAD!!

One of my personal faves! There's just so much you can DO to a salad and so many flavors! Well, on with the salad 411 on how this helps you and why you should consume more of this! Eating salads can help you control that killer caloric intake at meals. Instead of binging on the never-ending pasta dish at Olive Garden - get the starter salad and fill up on that first! A ton of less calories and that means less intake for YOU! Plus is boosts your vitamin C, E, and Folic acids that help you fight of diseases better. Didn't know that, did you?

GREEN TEA!

The sliming aid isn't the caffiene guys, it's Antioxidants called catechins. See, they help speed up the metabolism which helps the body skip the caloric intake and helps you burn fat. Kinda of cool, huh? The added bonus for this natural little wonder is it helps lower your LDL cholesterol (the bad one!).

PEARS!

They are full of fiber which also helps fill you up. A medium pear has 6 grains of fiber, per pear!  Both apples and pears contain pectin fiber, which decreases blood-sugar levels, helping you avoid between-meal snacking.  In a Brazilian study that lasted 12 weeks, overweight women who ate three small pears or apples a day lost more weight than women on the same diet who ate three oat cookies daily instead of the fruit.
